Born from fire and forest, our Burnt Morel Salt honors the wild resilience of Idaho's mountain landscape. Each spring, after wildfire has swept through the high country, prized morel mushrooms emerge from the charcoal-rich soil- Earthy, smoky, and deeply aromatic. These fire-kissed morels are carefully dried and ground into a rich Idaho morel mushroom powder, layered with wild Oregon mushrooms for an even deeper woodland complexity.
We blend this forest treasure with fresh garlic, onion powder, and bright orange zest for balance and lift. Nutritional yeast adds a subtle savory richness, while turmeric brings warmth and golden depth. Cracked black pepper adds a gentle bite, and garden-grown sage, rosemary, and thyme weave in a frangrant alpine note reminiscent of Idaho's mountain air.
The entire blend is finished with applewood smoke salt-low-smoked and smooth- tying together the earthy mushrooms and herbal brightness with a whisper of campfire warmth.
